A full masterplan service was provided for the 85 hectare estate. Our historic research revealed that the Grade II* listed house sat within an unimproved 18th century landscape. We worked closely with the client to establish a vision for the park that reflected the English Landscape tradition of drives and rides, enjoying framed views to the main house and the broader landscape. 

A significant programme of woodland extension, copse and specimen tree planting was undertaken, alongside lake land and woodland management to create a richer and more valuable landscape. Established trees were relocated using tree spades, providing immediate maturity to particular views.

Planning permission was also gained for improvements to the main house gardens, incorporating tennis court, orchard, swimming pool and formal gardens, along with wholesale changes to the equestrian complex.
