Tumbling Bay play area, Olympic Park, London; stone blocks and corresponding voids in the ground plane, exploring the contrast between man-made forms and natural rock surfaces.

Hope House; inspecting semi-circular stone steps.

Reference:
Innovative street furniture integrated with landscape design can offer multiple uses; play, seating and sculptural interest. This perforated steel seating also functions as ventilation for below-ground parking.

In the Studio:
RFSK; sketch work for proposed communal entrance with doorstep play.

Scampston Hall; the management of planting can extend the season of interest and provide value for wildlife by retaining the seed heads of perennials and grasses.

Princess Diana Memorial Playground; play 'cells' surrounded by dense bamboo groves.

Private garden; stock selection of topiary and pleached hornbeam for the walled garden.

Tabley Park; concept design work for Tabley Park involved the study of historic drawings and maps. Views of the tower, as shown in this Turner sketch, were critical to unlocking the interpretation of the landscape.

Brooks Laundry; demolition has had a huge impact on the site, leaving the retained historic chimney the last man standing.

Saxonvale, Frome; preliminary sketches, extending the woad sample book theme from the marketplace proposals into the Riverside Park.

Tumbling Bay play area, Olympic Park, London; the bespoke timber construction of the high climbing tower pushes the barriers of risk and use of organic materials in play.

On Site:
Palac Wlosien; construction of timber deck bathing platform at the swimming lake.

Brandon Yard, Bristol; agreeing Townscape Visual Assessment viewpoint locations along the harbourside with the local authority.

Bath Riverside; climber supports and pergolas reflecting the architectural metalwork and rhythm of the surrounding buildings' window-frames.
