Pałac Włosień, Poland

We have carried out masterplanning and detailed design work for a listed Castle and parkland in the Lower Silesia area of southern Poland. The site is being developed as a new hotel and spa complex. The remnants of an 18th century 'English Garden', a style that was popular in the region at the time, are to be assessed and where possible restored to their former glory.

The existing features include lakes and water courses, historic tree avenues, walled gardens and lawns. The successful restoration of the park and gardens in the English Landscape Style will form a unique example in the region. New features will include a maze, shrubbery walks and ornamental glasshouse.
