University of Leeds, Headingley Campus
Landscape planning considerations for the creation of a 540 unit student residential development, commissioned by UPP. The site was located within a sensitive part of this historic campus, adjacent to the Grade II listed Carnegie Buildings and within the envelope of the Green Belt. The site itself had significant other ecological constraints that needed to be understood and weighed against the enhancement of the overall area.
Matthew worked closely with the University and Leeds County Council to achieve a harmonious development, that provided the client with a high quality campus facility, whilst respecting the particular site constraints.
