Charlecote Park, National Trust
The National Trust commissioned Matthew Wigan Associates to undertake a Landscape Plan Study at Charlecote Park, a 16th century country house surrounded by deer parkland, on the banks of the River Avon in Warwickshire.
The landscape study was conceived out of the challenge of re-organising car parking to enhance the visitor experience within the site, and to help with the strategic planning and decision making of the National Trust. The project plays to Matthew Wigan Associates' strengths in conserving the historic landscape and enhancing visitor access, interpretation and enjoyment.
